I've been a patient at Dunbar Dental Care for 20 years, and it has been my pleasure to recommend them to anyone I know who is looking for excellent dental work. My experience has been very consistent over the years: the details of appointments and billings handled efficiently with Cyndi at reception, careful dental hygiene, anticipatory dental assistance, and of course the cheerful professionalism and calm capability of the dentist, most recently Dr. Anna Pranata. The whole staff is very friendly, ensures patients are comfortable, but all the while very competently and meticulously go about the dental work with much care and skillfulness. Over the years I've had fillings, crowns, veneers, and root canals, and the outcome is always the same - healthier teeth, pleasing aesthetics, and without complication. I feel fortunate to have access to such high quality dental care. They are a delightful team who clearly work very well together for their patients' best interest.
- Read More..I usually get nervous about attending the dentist. I have some bad memories, including fillings as a child and a crown installment as an adult. So when I sit down in the dentist's chair I tend to tense up and fear pain. I still do this, but with Dr. Pranata my head now tells me I shouldn't, and after 10 minutes in her chair I sit back and relax.
I’ve had a couple of fillings and four crowns from Dr. Pranata. The way I would describe her work is 'exceptionally competent.' Dr. Pranata has pain management down -- I have never felt pain (beyond the pinch of the novocaine needle) in her chair. She is also a stickler for high quality and precision work. Finally, she minimizes intervention. Every procedure she has done for me has been necessary. When I have asked about some additional 'preventative' measures, Dr. Pranata has told me she does not think they are necessary right now, or that we can watch and decide later.
I would recommend Dr. Pranata for all ages. My two children too have had good experiences with her as well.

I have been delighted with the dental care and services I have received since becoming a patient. Due to a medical condition I have complex dental care needs and require ongoing extensive work. Dr. Pranata’s technical and aesthetic skills are excellent and I have been extremely pleased with all the results. Her chairside manner is professional but also compassionate and caring. Her staff has also been great to deal with – again, professional and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Pranata to anyone looking for a dentist.
