At Dunbar Dental Centre we welcome all patients. We know each individual’s needs are different so our approach is to treat the patient, not the insurance plan and do so with as much transparency as possible. It is our job to offer you all your options and to help you understand them so that you can make an informed decision. We do not accept assignment of dental benefits meaning payment is expected the day that treatment is completed. We will in turn complete all paperwork or electronic submissions to your insurance company on your behalf. You will be reimbursed directly from your insurance company which usually occurs within the week or even the next day. We encourage you to become familiar with your dental plan and we will help you understand your dental plan as best as we can. Bear in mind that optimum dentistry is sometimes not fully covered by insurance. Due to privacy policies, we cannot obtain information from your insurance company regarding your policy. It is your responsibility to notify us of the details of your insurance coverage and of any changes that may have occurred (policies change from time to time) so that we may better advise you regarding your dental benefits.
